I did not make a compliment yet on the photo, but I do it now! That's actually a very beautiful picture! I love the great body sharpness and perspective in #1. The second shot is very helpful for ID. Definitely Argiope sp., I think it might be Appensa. Some of them show reddish legs some grayish ones. It is also known as an introduced species in Hawaii (Hawaii garden spider).

it made a special design on it's web. Spotted this at their old cemetery in Siquijor but then after going around the island I spotted more of these type of spider--I guess it's endemic to the island?
