Field Notes

Description:

Medium size shrub/tree 2+ meters tall. Blooms in Summer, a light shade of cream/lime green and fades to pink as the flowers age. Sometimes the flower heads remain on the tree after dead and dried but most of the time they are blown off. No distintive fragrance.

Habitat:

USDA Zone 5b full sun.

Notes:

Not a wild or naturalized plant, this would have been planted for ornamental purposes.
