Description:

also known as the Plain Tiger or African Monarch , the Plain Tiger is one of the oldest recorded butterflies in history.a common butterfly which is widespread along most of srilanka. particularly addicted to Tropical Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) as a nectar source and a larval host plant in breeding.
