Field Notes

Description:

I found this insects while I was going to throw trash in the dumpster and it was on top of the one of the plants. I was looking at the flower and accidentally I happen to see this insect. The flower was brown in color and insects had the same color so it was very hard to spot at very first glance.I can tell that this is grasshopper and it belongs to phylum Arthropoda but I don't know it's genus and species name. I hope you can help me out.

Habitat:

I found it close to that pond so I am guessing it lives around the pond and feeds the insects around it.
