Description:

Chondrula is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Enidae. Distribution of the genus Chondrula ranges from Europe and northern Africa and to Iran. The pictured land snail is probably the species Chondrula munita (syn: Chondrula minuta), which is very common in Greece. It was spotted empty, in Goritsa hill archaeological reserve, Volos city, Greece.
