Field Notes

Description:

My second ambush bug find, and again, they didn't choose a good flower as far as blending in goes, this time being on a blue mistflower. I love their little orange eyes. It was at dusk and very low light, so I couldn't get a clear picture without the torch on, but as soon as I turned on the light, they skittered to the underside of the flower.

Habitat:

Shaded mixed forest, perched in a small blue mistflower growing by a low stream. It was dusk and the temperature was around 63 fahrenheit.
