Jungle Crow

What struck me was that it flew down to a stretch of sand left bare by the receding tide and poked in the soft sand. Then it pulled out something white and tubular from under the surface and ate it. I was too far away to get a better shot but you can see the worm or the mollusc being pulled out. I wonder how it knew.
