Description:

common medium sized pink and grey members of the parrot/cockatoo family, That is found nearly all over Australia. 40 years ago they sold in the pet trade, wild caught, for nearly 5K USD each, and can now be found for half that, or less as captive raised, hand fed babies.

Habitat:

on a lawn in Alice springs

Notes:

I am having trouble getting over my experince of finding that parrots are common street birds in Aus
