Description:

Red toad. Think it's an American Toad. Looks like it should be on mars.

Habitat:

It was coming out of a soybean field. I really wanted to get the picture in the green soybeans but I took the pictures after it jumped into a sandy, lower spot where drainage for the field goes. It was at the edge of a wooded area. We have a lot of red clay in our fields and he camouflages very well with the clay mix soil and sand.
