Description:

Usually yellow coloured dog, medium sized, often white tip on tail, white paws, darker blended muzzle, athletic build, white patch on chest, colour variations include black and tan, and mixed breeds carry domestic dog colourings of many types. Possibly arrived in Australia several thousand years ago with seafarers and trading partnerships from the north. Efficient hunters and suspected of displacing mainland carnivores.

Habitat:

Found throughout all of Australia.
