Description:

Spotted during a hike at the Edge of Appalachia reserve - Stemless perennial herb. Height up to 6 inch. Colour of Flower - White to pink, to lavender and purple. Also known as Liverwort and Liverleaf.

Habitat:

Wet deciduous woodland. Eastern North America from Canada south to Tennessee.
