Description:

The Helena Gum Moth. A large orange/brown moth with eye spots on wings.

Habitat:

Larva live in eucalypts and eat the leaves. They have been observed to pupate for between three weeks and two years.
This one discovered on the window of our house, where it has now been for 36 hrs without moving.
