Description:

Lacerta schreiberi is a species of the family of lizards (Lacertilia). It's head is short and wide; the tail is double length than the body. This species, in general, is green and with the abdomen yellowish. Males also have a blackish color, replaced in females by a brownish color. In the mating season, the male has bluish neck. Its total length does not exceed 40 cm. When is chased it does not hesitate to climb trees.

Habitat:

Lives mainly in areas mountain of the Center and Northwest of the Iberian peninsula. Spotted in a pine tree copse.
