Field Notes

Description:

A rather tall singular mushroom, maybe 4-5 inches. The cap was already drying and frayed, but appeared to be a greyish color. Prominent gills underneath (did not take a spore sample).

Habitat:

west central ga, pine/mulch/clay soil.
