Field Notes

Description:

Crab/flower spider of about 6mm body length. Yellowish green colouration with a pink patch around the eyes, two light brown lines on the cephalothorax, and a patch on abdomen of the same light brown. I think this might be a Mecaphesa sp.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
