Field Notes

Description:

A perennial Minnesota native plant. It is 1 to 3 feet in height & has flat clusters across at the end of stems. Individual flowers are about 1/4 inch across and have 4 to 6 white petals, notched at the tips, and pale yellow disc flowers. Leaves are narrow up to 6 inches long.

Habitat:

Spotted at Tamarac near the Discovery Center. Habitat: part shade, sun, fields, prairies, open woods & roadsides.
