Description:

These are male Acmon blue butterflies. Aka Acmon/Lupine blue butterfly. Distinguished by the orange on the hind wing. Similar to Karner blue, but Karners have a different range. Both species are associated with lupines.

Habitat:

Spotted puddlling in a moist creek bed.
