Description:

Yellow moth with brown spots, 2 cm in length. There are several of these yellow moths with different patterns of brown in our area and all of about the same size. This one spotted in 2013-2014 is the most similar to this one and is possibly the same species with changes that have occurred over the past 4 years (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/27527067/fullscreen). Family Geometridae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
