Field Notes

Description:

White Pierid butterfly with gray to black patterns and pale yellow veins on undersides of wings.

Habitat:

Disturbed edge of forest, resting on mud and pine needles in shady clearing after heavy rain.

Notes:

Not the best shot as this butterfly was very finicky!
