Field Notes

Description:

A beautiful Florida native wildflower with a tiny star-shaped bloom.

Habitat:

It likes mid- full sun and well drained soil. It seems to grow in somewhat sandy soils too, and is pretty drought tolerant. We grow it in our backyard, and it's easy to split and spread if you want more.

Notes:

One of my favorite Florida wildflowers. The bees love it too!
