Its is the Yellow Throated Sparrow or Chestnut-shouldered Petronia, my book didn't have an accurate picture either. Thanks for the ID Liam and Malcolm
I am inclined to agree with Liam, my Indian book does not give a good colour likeness but the general pattern is the same. The common name in India (and in Clements 6.6) is Chestnut-shouldered Petronia.
