Description:

Another pics of golden tortoise shell beetle. He has unique behavior. First time I came near, he try to hide himself on an Cecropia leaf. I try to catch, get, and capture. He seems like to do a trick, fall down to my hand like a dead one, and then flying after some second I capture the photos.

Habitat:

Cecropia leaf, marshy area.

There are several, but may be come from different species. Now it has been clearly identified that this one almost (always) found at some kind of hollowed-stem herbs, I guess it from Convolvulaceae ... Still on progress to capture it as good as possible :) btw thanks ...
