Field Notes

Habitat:

Dry rocky chaparrel at elevations up to 500 metres in Venezuela. Dry coastal forests, thickets in the Caribbean Islands.

Notes:

Striking yellow explosions through out the island at this time. (should have taken a few flower close-ups). Note: seems to have been classified as (Tabebuia Billbergii) also. Another common name seems to be "Yellow Poui".
