Description:

The plumed basilisk, Basiliscus plumifrons, also called a green basilisk, double crested basilisk, or Jesus Christ lizard, is a species of corytophanid native to Latin America.

Habitat:

This one was seen in forest on the edge of a waterway in Tortuguero.

Scientific name for yours is Basiliscus plumifrons. Jesus Christ Lizard is usually used for all running basilisks. http://news.worldwild.org/jesus-christ-lizard/
