Field Notes

Description:

Mostly dark bird with a bright yellow around the eyes and the beak. When they fly you can see a white stripe on their wings. Not native to Hawaii, it was introduced there from India and has done very well.

Habitat:

Tropical

Notes:

They are everywhere and they don't sit still, making it hard to get a good clear photo.
