Small bird the size of a sparrow with a dark head.

Habitat:

Mixed conifer woods, temperate rainforest.

Notes:

Known as the dark-eyed junco. In the second photo, one junco is flying away from the camera, looking like a light-colored blob in the upper left of the picture.
