Looks like a "Black and Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia)" Hard to tell from pic. Took guts I'm sure to get up close to that one :) http://www.museum.state.il.us/ismdepts/zoology/spiders/gallery.html?RollID=roll01&FrameID=aurantia
