Field Notes

Habitat:

Sandy Arun river bank. Hot place.

Notes:

Spotted this beauty among a group of 7-8 similar ones hovering and settling once in a while on a sandy stretch of river bank. It was a hot day. NB: Since similar species have been tagged by scientists with locality names I too want to dedicate this one to this beautiful place called Tumlingtar.

There's a direct flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar. Best of luck.
Thanks Daniele for the appreciation. Despite the local airport, the place is desolate and different! Yes, one can enjoy the beautiful Mt. Makaa-lu Range. In fact, this place leads to the Mountain.
The colour and detail on this Tree yellow are just beautiful Dr. Sherpa. Tumlingtar looks like a wonderful place.
Thanks Yasin, Danilele, vedkarve and LucyLogan for liking it.
Yasin, thanks for the invitation, but geographically the two locations are far apart and quite different. Will definitely post when spotting nearby.
