Description:

Also known as Orange-Striped Triggerfish, Striped Triggerfish, Undulated Triggerfish, Undulated Trigger, Undulate Triggerfish, Red-lined Triggerfish, Green Triggerfish, Vermiculated Triggerfish and Yellowtail Triggerfish. Females identified by spots over nose. Males plain over nose.

They feed on a wide range of food items, including live coral, algae, sea urchins, crab, molluscs and other invertebrate groups, as well as fish and sea squirts. They can grow to a length of about 30cm.

Habitat:

Found singly in shallow sheltered lagoons and on outer reefs, at depths of 1 to 50m. Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region.
