Description:

This one male (red) was surrounded by brown females of his species that kept coming in and out. In this photo there were two but one was cropped out. Now that's what I call one lucky rosefinch!

Habitat:

Seen inside an ancient Nabataen water cistern, in fact, the largest of its kind! In true spirit, it was littered with plastic bags and other such rubbish.
