Description:

Two individuals. I have seen more of this species this year than in previous years. The one in the first image is one of the most brightly colored ones I have seen, most likely due to it having recently emerged. I enjoy these small but colorful Royal Moths quite a bit. National Moth Week 2017.

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to a flood light overnight.
