The Jewel Damselfly

Male damselflies have a black body, as well as compound eye color. Sintoraks is black with a pattern of blue stripes on the sides and pink on the upper side. The abdomen is black, there is a blue spot on the side of the abdomen on internodes 1-5. The appendage (the tip of the tail, plays a role in copulation) is black, superior to the frill measuring longer than inferior. The wings are black and there will be a pink reflection if exposed to sunlight.
Female damselflies have a body with a paler color than males. Compound eyes have a combination of dark brown at the top and pale brown at the bottom. Sintoraks and protoracic dark brown with light brown stripes and pale light green. The abdomen is brown with dilated lobes on internodes 8-10 on the sides. The wings are transparent brown and the pterostigma is blackish-brown. The limbs are blackish-brown. Pterostigma is a part of the wings of an insect that is thickened and has a different color.
