Description:

There are many small, woodland species of Lepiota, and identifying them to species can be quite a challenge. The species in the Lepiota cristata cluster are recognized by their diminutive size (cap 1-5 cm), the presence of pinkish to brownish scales on the cap, the smooth stem that bears a fragile ring, and the usually distinctive--but hard to describe--smell (see below). Microscopic features, including bullet-shaped spores and a hymeniform pileipellis, will confirm identification.

I always carry a mirror in autumn, it gives so much more information and helps adding the right ID afterwards :-)

De soortenbank ken ik inderdaad. Kan ik wel wat mee als ik al een aanknopingspunt heb, maar vanuit het niets vind ik het niet makkelijk determineren. Maar je hebt gelijk, met een boekje, wat snuffelen en eens vragen kom je een heel eind. Dank je.

je moet eerst kijken, hoe je de links gebruikt. De link van "mycobank" is belangrijk maar niet so veel te doen erop. als ik een naam heb, kijk ik daar of de naam nog stets legitime is. De link van soortenbank is af en toe verwarrend. Hal je een boek, niet te duur en heel informativ (gerrit j. keizer- paddenstoelen encyclopedie {alleen een voorstel}). maar ik denk je lukt het well, vroeg gerust als je will {nee heb je , ja kun je krijgen !!} veel succes!!

i myself find mushroomobserver confusing, but ok if you know how to navigate in it, is it also a site with many different species.!!!

when this mushroom had a strong smell, i would suggest: "lepiota cristata" if not, then it is at least from the genus lepiota's (parasolzwammen) good luck
