Field Notes

Notes:

I don't mind telling you that I almost cried with delight when I saw this beautiful butterfly - it is one of the prettiest things I have ever seen in the wild. Spotted on a bush in suburban Townsville, about one metre away from this Blue-banded Eggfly: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9863167

@achmmad - I absolutely agree with you! @shekainahdalaban - I'll look forward to seeing it.
Beautiful! I know how to breed this butterfly. I'll try to upload the picture of its hostplant tomorrow. We it sentimiento ( the hostplant ) locally.
Congrats Shanna! nature make us re-fresh by dropping our tears of happiness ... :)
I'm not surprised. It's got quite a surreal look with those colours. Gorgeous.
