Description:

Photo take at -45 ft in a Caribbean reef. This sponge is massive in shape bout 40 to 60 cm diameter, with a regular pattern of bumps on its surface. In this species the bumps may be joined in a lattice-like pattern.

Habitat:

Inhabit shallow to mid-range reefs, often grow near living corals. It is also found in lagoons.
Found from Florida all The Caribbean sea to the North Venezuela.
