Field Notes

Description:

Wild turkeys that live on the wooded hill above my house & frequent our yard. We've had the pleasure of watching them raise several babies in most of the last 8-10 years

Habitat:

Brushy hillside of mixed fir, oak & cottonwoods. They spend a lot of time eating bugs & popping the heads off dandelions & daisies in my yard. They roost in trees either in the yard or on the hill.
