Field Notes

Description:

This sparrow is distinguished by the brown streaking on it's lower body and throat. Upper body brown, tan and white, cheeks gray to white. Their are a number of sybspecies and the birds are variable ib tgeir color. Approximately 6 inches in size.

Habitat:

Woodland edges and fields with shrubs
