I found this poor lttle thing on my roof, still having a hard time identifying it. Not sure if it is a full grown adult or a juvenile?

It seemed to be disorientated, so I scooped him up and off to the local wildlife rehabilitation centre. On arrival there he seemed to be alot better and flew out of the hands of one of the carers. So I brought him back home and released him again. Once out of the box, he took off with great speed.

So, I'm guessing he may have flown into the window maybe? Was in shock, then after a short rest and a trip to the vet, was feeling OK enough to continue on his way.

You're welcome. This is not so often as well I do have so much trouble to ID a bird. But juveniles are real challenges! I am sure you will have the opportunity to help me ID one, one day.

It seems you find the picture I was looking for yesterday in order to make sure. The colors match the beak, the legs, the feathers... and the story matches yours! I am sure that's it now. Thank you to have answered and followed up.

That's a real challenge! I am wondering if it would not be a Speckled Warbler (juvenile, breeding/nonbreeding...)? The beak color is not matching perfectly. So i am not sure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speckled_Warbler

Thanks Liam, I've looked up Robins but still can't make a positive idea. I'll keep at it......
