Description:

Inside this rolled section of a banana leaf is a big fat white grub. Many of the banana trees in the garden have these but I have no idea what they can be.

Thanks Ashish! Mystery solved. I shall be looking out for the Banana Skipper , it's been very busy here. I've heard the Orioles but not spotted them as there is a lot of tree cover in the garden

Nice! We have it to in front of my dormitory. Green-whitish with powder like material covered on it, black head. Interesting!
