I was already happy with the genus! Thanks Keith and your experience is much more worth than mine.
While this certainly could be a prepupal Euthalia aconthea (Baron) . . . http://ifoundbutterflies.org/images/stories/EuthaliaAconthea/16EuthaliaAconthea_KSaji_ac170.jpg . . . its faded dorsal stripe is much more suggestive of E. monina, at least in my experience.
Most probebly common baron. As there are indeed mango tress around where ive seen this caterpillar. Many thanks!
Euthalia have these strange caterpillars. Might even be Euthalia aconthia (which would be "Baron" the other species are some kind of other Barons), there are quite variable during the different instars. That's definitely something for Keith to look at it. He has for sure the correct ID. I would be happy if my Euthalia is not completely out of the row ...
