Description:

An abandoned butterfly pupa belonging to a swallowtail butterfly.

Habitat:

Seen on an orange plant in my mothers garden.

Notes:

Clicked, using macro mode on my Samsung Omnia-W.

If the plant is miniature orange plant then that is "Calamondin Orange" sci. name :Citrofortunella microcarpa
May be Swallowtail type butterfly's pupa.

Thanks Ashish. It was a bonsai orange plant. Maybe Citris Mitis Calamondin, not sure.
