Spotted one in 13 December 2014 in Windhoek, Namibia, Africa...with my Father. Got a nice picture.
I see I was not completely out of the row with the family, however, I did a terrible misspelling...
Absolutely wonderful! Great spotting Argybee!
http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_planthoppers/AcaciaHopper3.htm looks the closest but it is on the wrong type of plant... http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_planthoppers/GumHopper2.htm is the right tree... hmm
Must keep second picture on front as it is very clear..
Welcome.. You also find them as I use Google Chrome browser.. :)
Good link Ashish thank you. I'll get around to research this one soon. My fault for leaving so many older ones to research and repair :)
It very alike... Platybrachys on following link... http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_planthoppers/Eurybrachyidae.htm
Thanks bayucca. I was being a bit lazy with this one. I hadn't got back to it. Your conversation with ShannaB seems a good lead.
Fulgoroidea, might be Eurybrachyidae (this time)?. Look at this one, we had a very nice and interesting discussion ;-)... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9875039
I don't know insects that well but this is a very wrinkled and interesting creature.
