Yes, it is himalayan subspecies, i have seen it often in Himachal Pradesh (Nortern State of India)

I didn't think they had so much black on the face, but I see some matches on Google. Maybe a Himalayan subspecies.

I don't think so, Liam. This one is blue and chestnut colored. It could be another chestnut bellied rock thrush as far as I think.
