The Philippine nightjar (Caprimulgus manillensis) is a species of nightjar in the family Caprimulgidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its local names are kandarapa (Tagalog) and tagolilong (Cebuano).

Habitat:

Spotted on a tree between Palma Hall and the burned out College of Arts and Letters of University of the Philippines - Diliman. Previously spotted at the College of Arts and Letters but moved after the building burned.

You're welcome! The new description is perfect. Thanks!
@DanielePralong: Thanks for the tip.
Hi Almario! Another welcome to Project Noah! Here's a tip for you. In the Habitat field, just describe the actual habitat where your spotting was made. From our FAQ page: "Habitat: Please state the actual habitat where you photographed the spotting - this information can then be used to track changes in habitat, such as those caused by human intervention or habitat destruction. It is not necessary to state published habitat information here, this can be referenced in the 'reference links' box". Thanks in advance and welcome again! https://www.projectnoah.org/faq
