Description:

Spittlebugs or Aphrophoridae is a family of insects belonging to the order Hemiptera. Probably a secretion of Philaenus spumarius nymphs. (Meadow Froghopper)

Habitat:

Spotted on a Broom bush. Mountains at 1900 m. Parque Nacional de Sierra de Guadarrama, Peñalara.
