Description:

3" to 8" plant with small flowers blooming in late winter to early spring.

Habitat:

Moist woodlands, open fields, prairies and pastures. Often among native grasses.

Notes:

Widely spread throughout Oklahoma.

Comments (5)

More closely related to portulaca than mallow. To me, mallows have a "fuller" petal. Colors are quite similar, though!
