This beautiful Tiger moth had a wingspan of 6 cm (2.4 inches).

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

Thanks ArgyBee! We're a house on a hillside with only 1 distant neighbour. So we're pretty lucky: in the evening any moths (etc) that are around, come to visit us! :-)

Could this be another Snouted Tiger Moth (e.g. Euplocia membliaria)? Or a Specious Tiger Moth (Asota speciosa)?
