Field Notes

Description:

This fungus was around 50mm in diameter, cream in colour with a wrinkled appearance.

Habitat:

Found in my front yard after a week of rain, under a recently removed tree.

It looks like Puffball (Lycoperdon sp.) not sure. Edible when young. After maturation they used to release spore.
