Hi Sckel, You were correct when you identified this moth as being from the Genus Psamatodes. I think it is Psamatodes abydata (Guenée, [1858]) and it has three synonyms: Macaria abydata Guenée, [1858]...Macaria punctolineata Packard, 1873...Semiothisa simulata Hulst, 1887. You can find details on https://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=6332..... but I will send you a Species ID Suggestion with a link to a different section of the Mississippi State University Moth Photographers website where you will see several (pinned) specimens which show some of the small variations, including one very much like your photo.
