Description:

A very common little bird. These chickadees have a conspicuous black 'cap' and white eye line for which they are named.The rest of the body is tan to white, with gray wings. These birds have rapid wing beats and are usually seen in groups.

Habitat:

Deciduous forests from coast to coast in North America.
